Staff and vet team have been so amazing every time I come in. I’ve brought them my fosters in an emergency and my personal pets for their regular care and emergencies and they are always amazing with my babies. I recommend them all over the place and some of the pets that I’ve fostered and adopted out, still go there to this day. I love it. Recently my pup passed away and they were amazing. When I got my new puppy they called me to confirm my appt and when I asked them if I could change it, not only did they but they were so excited to meet my new friend too. I’m a big fan.

I have never have difficulty obtaining an appointment for my dogs.  The staff are so friendly and truly love the animals like the owners do.  Gus’ vet is great about discussing must-needs tests vs what is reasonable considering the situation.  I never feel pressured when I choose to be conservative, and am involved always in decision making. I also feel, even coming from a small town where everything is cheaper, that their fees are reasonable!  I’m grateful for finding them to take over my dogs’ care when I moved here!

I have brought my animals to East Louisville Animal Hospital for years.  Dr. Edlin has been so good to me and my animals through good and bad times.  I tried going to a couple of different places when I moved many years ago and I ended up back at ELAH.  I trust them to take care of my babies and tell me what is best for them.  Also, the staff is so incredibly nice!!

When my cat was experiencing an eye issue, I called the front office and was able to explain the situation. I sent pictures to their email and Dr. Frantz personally called me. I was advised to come in and they ran all the tests needed and gave me a up front estimate. There were no hidden fees and Dr. Frantz found the issue. Everyone took my concerns seriously and made me feel comfortable. All the staff members take their time and make sure all questions are answered. Shout out to Kayla the receptionist , Sara the technician and Dr. Frantz. Thank you!

I see that most people love this place and I once did too. They’ve cared for lots of my animals but we stopped going to them the last few years and I’ll explain why. We got a new 8 week old puppy in 2022 and he was kind of lethargic, wasn’t eating or drinking a whole lot, so we took him in. Out of all the things that could have been wrong they started out with “we think he has a liver shunt” which is thousands of dollars in surgeries, meds, and vet bills and pretty low survival odds. So we took him down to Dr Deck just for a second opinion. Turns out he was just not adjusting well and wasn’t eating. No medical emergency like I was told it probably was.

Next, one of our dogs jumped off our 12” porch and was limping. She’s little and active so we took her in. They told us that she tore her ACL and was going to need immediate surgery. That didn’t sound right so we went to Metropolitan Veterinary Specialist to get a second opinion. After seeing her they said she did not tear her ACL and she just needed to let it heal. She was fine in a week.

My third and final straw was when we took our 5lbs Maltese in because he wasn’t going #2 for a length of time. I told them, “I think he ate something he wasn’t suppose to and he’s compacted”. I was told “there’s no way because he’d be doing….” We had just went to a polo match with him and they said he probably ate horse poo and that’s what was going on. 2-3 days later I yanked a full size paper towel out of his butt as he was trying to pass it. That’s big enough to kill a 5lbs dog and they would not listen.

Like I said, they’ve seen many of my animals and have done surgeries on them. I spent years going there but they broke my trust and I no longer trust them with my animals well being. They went zero to a hundred real fast on the most extreme ailments that just so happen to be the most profitable. They tried to get me to have medical procedures that were completely unnecessary. I get that medical professionals get it wrong sometimes but three times in a row is just too much.

The staff has always been great and super sweet. They’ve been compassionate and I feel like they genuinely care but something has happened in the past 3-4 years that has changed this place. It’s really sad because I do miss going there but I can’t go back to a place that I feel like I need to go get a second opinion every time. Getting second opinions have not only saved me thousands of dollars but have not made me put my animals through unnecessary surgeries.

Do what you will with that information and maybe it’s changed since we were there last. Crazier things have happened.

I was raised as a military child, but I consider Las Vegas my home as it is the place where I have lived the longest. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. After I graduated, I completed an internship in Greensboro, NC before returning to the Las Vegas area to provide local general practitioner services.

Dr Lincoln grew up in a small town in central Massachusetts. He attended the University of Massachusetts, receiving a BS in zoology and a minor in psychology. He worked in research for a few years at The National Institutes of Health and SUNY Brooklyn before veterinary school.

Pennsylvania native who earned a bachelor's from Penn State and a DVM from St. Georges University. After moving around, I settled in Las Vegas in 2023 with two senior dachshund mixes, Lexi and Pixie, and a three-legged husky, Luna. Passionate about animal behavior and training, enjoys outdoor adventures and nose work classes with Pixie. Excited to be part of an amazing veterinary team at Boca Park.
